parent Volunteer

Join your neighbors and friends in this community-based, fun, and recreational volunteer girls’ softball organization. We rely on our families for assistance during the softball season.  

You only need enthusiasm and interest in supporting our girls. We take pride in training you in any area of softball.

No matter your level of softball knowledge, from a first-time newbie with no softball experience to a seasoned veteran who has been around softball fields for years, there is a way to help your team or your league.

Team Parent

Help your team coach and manager. Female chaperones take the players to the bathroom.

Can you grab bases from the equipment shed? Bring a snack. Take team photos on your phone or help a player put on the catcher’s gear? Just ask a board member or your team staff to tell them you want to help.

Snack Shack Help

Are you able to help pass out hot dogs and slushies in the snack shack? No experience is necessary, and help when you want. It is easy and fun and the girls love visiting after the game.

Team Manager

Can you dedicate a little more time? The team manager helps the team throughout the season.

You take care of the needs of the players during practices and games. Interested?

Assistant Coach

Want to learn the game? Assistant coaching is perfect for those who want to be involved.

Experience? We train, (remember this is recreational, not the Olympic team) with clinics and support materials. Supporting and working with the player is all you need. The reward is the smiles and laughter you experience from the girls.  https://www.bhgs.net/coaches
